It has been a while since I updated the Dairy. Too much work and not enough office hours.

Another busy few Winter months where we have been re-grouting all the pools to keep them looking prisine, refurbished two bathrooms in to walk in shower en-suites in Lakeside and Waterfall Cottages. Painting as much as possible in the time available. I have even learn’t to sew and made a new canopy for one of the four poster beds, quite an achievement for me I can say.

Coming very soon is our NEW website with lots of lovely pictures of the cottages and countryside, do keep a look out for it.

Bookings are coming in fast so if you have a date in mind please do not leave it too late. The smaller cottages are already fairly full, if the week you want is gone please contact me and I will probably be able to offer you a larger cottage at Waterfall cottage price. Boris the great dane is now approaching 2 years old. He is a lovely dog and is quite a character. He gets on well with all guests that wish to know him.

Zip wire, much talked about, is now in place behind the tree house. Quite quick and good fun, only with parent supervision.

The gardener is busy clearing out the bushes on the far side of the lake which will open up some new planting areas and refresh the area. We have taken down all the conifers in front of the house so another bed to plant. We too now have a view of the lake as well as the cottages.
